day and age have ever had the opportunity to stay in such vintage
dwellings though? You would be hard pressed to find one anywhere else on
the continent!
Now at last, the opportunity for reliving a chapter in American history. A chance of a lifetime to step back in time, discover for yourself what a sod house was really all about! |

We didn’t mean to mislead you!
As you can see from the pictures of the walls, the structure itself is genuine sod house. We know how far folks these days will go for a genuine adventure though. So we put in real hardwood floors, comfortable amenities, a fully modern bathroom. That ensures that the “real experience” is also a genuinely comfortable, great time in our little mountain town - the 1880’s Ranch! We can probably come up with something for everyone’s tastes, if there are those in your party that really do want dirt floors-see the Indian Bark Lodge or Teepee!  |
